My name is Chris Gates, and I am living a big, cool life…

For a long time that was not an outcome that looked possible, much less likely. And yet, here I am. And since I know exactly how I got here, I can show you how to get here too!

I was a successful musician for about 15 years, until changing times and addiction put a stop to that career. I sobered up in 1998 –

just in time…

After several jobs in the tech field, I became a coach in 2010. I am a Certified Peer Coach and Coach Supervisor. Basically that means I am trained and certified to help people work through challenges that I have experience working through myself. I’ve worked with dozens of people, meeting each client where they are and providing guidance and coaching based on lived experience. I have worked with men and women from all walks of life, each facing different challenges in their lives.  I am committed to helping each person I work with discover the tools they need to start building a life that is personal and sustainable.

I still play music, but these days it’s just for the pure joy of it. I’m still very active in my own spiritual growth, and I’m incredibly happily married to an amazing woman who I still can’t believe thinks I’m a good idea. If my life never got better than it is today, that would be fine with me. But in 25 years of applying this approach, my life keeps getting bigger and cooler. My job it to try and keep up…
